actually cosina is made in japan, and lomo is a copy of the cosina actually. it's much harder to find a cosina cx-1 or 2 these days than an lc-a, at least on ebay anyways. i'm sure it's better built, but i wonder if the pictures will look lomo like. the lenses are slightly different i think.

Yeah, I've seen those on Ebay. I was looking at buying one with an underwater housing, but I found out it only goes like 25 feet. With the lens being different, I doubt it's Lomo-like other than it's looks. There's also an auto-winder available for those as well. Here's a link to the underwater housing:

the lomo-camera is a renamed cosina, sold 25 years ago or 30.

i have a couple cosina cx-2's. lomo is a direct ripoff.

the cosina is MUCH better built. very sturdy. it also has a VERY handy selftimer!!!!! and it has a detachable motor-autowinder.

as for its pictures...i'll try to scan some in sometime within the next week. they do have some lomo-like qualities...vignetting is very strong on one of my two cosina's...

the cosina cx-2 is what a lomo wishes it could be...

i think it was Jesal from congress that had one of these?... i had the same question... it looked just like a lomo (surprise surprise)... it just said cosina on the edge, not Lomo. and it had the selftimer which i thought was spiffy
